Itineraries
Day 1
Casablanca – Fes
The private tour begins with a pickup at your hotel in Casablanca, followed by a visit to the city’s main cultural sites before heading to Fes, where we’ll spend the night at a riad or hotel.
Day 2
Fes – Guided Tour
We will explore Morocco’s oldest city, wandering through its narrow alleys and streets. We will visit the gate of the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter where the first Mellah was built in the 16th century, Al Qaraouine University, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. In the afternoon, we will tour local cooperatives and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire medina before returning to the riad.
Day 3
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga
After breakfast, we’ll set off for Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and passing through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can feed the Barbary macaques.
We’ll stop in Midelt for lunch and continue through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Rissani, where we’ll explore the local market, before arriving in Merzouga to spend the night at a hotel.
Day 4
Merzouga Desert
We’ll spend the day exploring the Erg Chebbi desert and dunes in a 4x4, experiencing Berber nomadic life. We’ll visit the village of Khamlia to listen to Gnawa music and have a Berber-style pizza for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll take a camel ride to watch the sunset and spend the night in a camp with a traditional dinner, mint tea, and music under the starry sky of the Sahara.
Day 5
Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Early in the morning, we’ll watch the sunrise in the desert and ride back to the village on camels. Visit the market in Rissani, then we’ll head to Tinghir to visit the Todra Gorge, the highest and narrowest in Morocco, where we can go for a hike. After lunch, we’ll continue to the Dades Gorge to admire its rock formations known as “monkey fingers” and spend the night at a local hotel or riad.
Day 6
Dades – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
We’ll set off for Ouarzazate along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, stopping in Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the Valley of Roses, for lunch. We’ll visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass toward Marrakech, where we’ll spend the night in a riad or hotel.
Day 7
Marrakech – Guided Tour
We'll take a guided tour of Marrakech, visiting Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the souks, palaces, museums...
Day 8
Marrakech – Casablanca
Depending on your flight schedule, you can explore less touristy areas of Marrakech and enjoy a local lunch before being transferred to your hotel or the airport, bringing the tour to a close.
